Advancing biotechnology through campus expansion
Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Tarrytown Expansion
Regeneron Pharmaceuticals is one of the world’s leading biotechnology companies, known for innovative medicines ranging from ocular injections and eczema treatments to advanced cancer research. Headquartered in Tarrytown, New York, the Loop Road campus expansion includes nine new buildings: two research and development facilities, three amenities buildings, three parking garages, and a Central Utility Plant. The research buildings support labs, a vivarium for preclinical studies, and office and support spaces, while the amenities buildings provide administrative offices, food services, meeting and conferencing areas, and employee wellness and recreational spaces that also serve as connective hubs across the campus.
Integrated infrastructure with environmental stewardship
Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Tarrytown Expansion
A new Central Utility Plant supports all Loop Road buildings, providing heating, cooling, and 100% backup power for both Phase 1 and Phase 2, with connections to Regeneron’s existing electrical infrastructure. Below-grade parking structures are topped with landscaped roofs to blend with the site, which lies within the Saw Mill River watershed and is surrounded by floodplains and wetlands. The project incorporates stringent construction and environmental controls to mitigate impacts on sensitive natural resources while delivering a resilient, fully integrated campus infrastructure.
