The new 269,070 square-foot school features 21st-century learning environments, a new sports field, track, bleachers, concession/storage/toilet/team room facilities, chemistry labs, an auditorium and additional amenities. Suffolk also performed the demolition of the existing building, alleviating structural issues including the aging and outdated steam heating system and lack of insulation. Phase 1 of this project, which includes the opening of the new school was completed in the spring of 2020. The completion of the entire project was scheduled for January, 2021.
