Suffolk was selected by Artists for Humanity (AFH) to manage the construction of the addition and renovation to their EpiCenter.
As part of the organization’s mission to create a stronger pipeline for the next generation of skilled workers, the new and improved EpiCenter will provide a learning laboratory for under-resourced urban youth seeking employment in art, design, building, engineering and technology fields.
The project includes construction of a new 45,000 square-foot addition and a completion renovation to the existing 24,000 square-foot EpiCenter. AFH is a non-profit organization that bridges economic, racial and social divisions by providing under-resourced youth with keys to self-sufficiency through paid employment art or design.
The newly renovated and expanded facility is now able to accommodate more youth artists, expanded galleries and new studios.
