This multi-family project is a five-story, 313,000 square-foot building, located in West Los Angeles.
The complex has 154 units with two levels of subterranean parking. All apartments are market rate and come fully amenitized. In addition, the project has two court yards and a second level pool.
This building, along with another complex adjacent to 1500 Granville, took over the site of a historic Buerge Ford dealership on Route 66. 7,000 square feet of the building is utilized as restaurant space, while 10,000 square feet is being used as retail space.
The building offers naturally ventilated corridors, a storm water management plan, drought tolerant plants, high efficiency windows and doors, as well as bicycle storage, electric vehicle charging stations, and rooftop solar.
The resulting “urban village” strives to engage the public on a stretch of roadway better known for speeding cars and heavy traffic than a lively pedestrian streetscape.
