The Public Works space is home to New Rochelle’s Public Works Operations Center. The center provides a hub for essential service municipalities such as the Bureau of Streets and Highways and serves as the city’s central storage garage. The center offers bays for maintaining and cleaning city vehicles, training rooms for public works staff, and an emergency operations center.

New Rochelle Mayor Noam Bramson remarked that this facility “enhanced safety and dignity for DPW workers who perform some of New Rochelle’s most essential duties by providing modern, efficient infrastructure to meet the current and long-term service needs of a growing city.”
