Located in downtown San Diego, Atmosphere is a twelve-story residential building containing 205 apartment units for very low income individuals and families,
Including 51 supportive housing units designated as permanent homes for people who have experienced homelessness. The building features a central courtyard, multiple community rooms, computer lab, rooftop terrace, children’s play areas, laundry facilities, and three levels of below-grade parking. Wakeland partnered with social service agencies to provide comprehensive wrap-around services to residents to promote self-sufficiency and stability. Designed to be highly sustainable, the project achieved LEED Silver certification.
