Suffolk is providing preconstruction and construction management services for the new Gateway High School project.
The project scope includes a three-story prototype high school with the capacity to hold approximately 2,000 student stations. The campus will feature multiple buildings, complete with full athletic fields, parking and site amenities.
Academies at Gateway High School include Medical Assisting, Veterinary, Cyber Security, Carpentry, and Engineering. On the new Gateway High School project, Suffolk’s team worked diligently during the preconstruction effort to provide accurate and consistent budget information for the district.
During ten months, from the first internal conceptual estimate to the 100% design development budget, Suffolk’s cost variance was only 0.3%. Additionally, Suffolk’s team identified $650,000 in value analysis options, $400,000 of which were accepted by the district.
