Hudson Exchange West will be a dynamic new neighborhood fully integrated into the surrounding Jersey City community.
The project is the first mixed-income development near the downtown waterfront in decades. The redevelopment plan for the lot, located at Second Street and Marin Boulevard, aims to create a multidimensional urban environment and a neighborhood destination, ideal for all Jersey City residents to live, work, and play. Phase 1A is a 625,000 square-foot project that included the construction of a new 35-story cast-in-place residential tower consisting of 421 units, 20% of which are affordable. The tower also includes 10,000 square feet of retail space, a seven-story precast parking garage, public open space, rooftop pool, amenity deck, and new street improvements surrounding the block.
Phase 1B construction consists of a mixed-use 35-story tower with 432 residential units 20% of which are affordable, 8,400 square-feet of retail space, and a precast parking garage. The reinforced concrete structure is enclosed by a prominent brick façade.
