Suffolk is delivering the renovation of a major amenity space at JAX’s Bar Harbor campus, including a conference room, restrooms, and egress corridors.
The existing conference room will be renovated with all new finishes, new casework, and HVAC equipment. The existing restrooms will be demolished and reconfigured into three single-use restrooms and a janitor closet. In the common corridors, Suffolk will replace existing flooring, wall base, wall finishes, ceiling finishes, lighting, FA devices, exit signs, and outlets. Two stairways will be upgraded to meet current building codes.
The project is phased to ensure continued and safe access to labs and offices. Suffolk is partnering closely with JAX to prevent any disruptions to daily campus operations and sensitive experiments.
