Stories of Impact

Supporting after tragedy
A smiling baby with medical equipment and colorful toys is lying in a hospital bed, next to a woman who is also smiling warmly at the baby.

Michelle and her husband were elated when they found out they were expecting their first child. But as one tragedy rolled into another, and then another, Michelle sought help to care for her baby.

Helping our trade partners
A man with short hair and a close-cropped beard smiles slightly outdoors on a sunny day. He is wearing a charcoal gray T-shirt, with green trees and blurred buildings in the background.

For trade partner Mark Jump, it was a morning commute he had done hundreds of times. That early drive changed in an instant: he was hit by a car, severely injuring his leg. With Mark unable to work, he and his wife weren’t sure how to pay the bills.

Sending a message of hope

Hospital visits, frightening spasms, misdiagnoses: this roller coaster wasn’t what Courtney and Brett imagined when they welcomed baby Lyric to the family.
