Innovative last-mile distribution with integrated vehicle storage

55-15 Grand Avenue Queens Last-mile Distribution Facility

The 55-15 Grand Ave project in Maspeth, Queens is a 1.1 million-square-foot, five-story last-mile distribution facility featuring a two-story Class-A logistics center with 15 loading docks, topped by three levels of vehicle parking for over 600 employees and fleet vehicles, including EV charging and van launches. The cast-in-place concrete structure with a Cobiax elevated slab system provides long, clear spans for efficient parking, while the exterior combines pre-cast panels and elastomeric coatings. Leased by Amazon prior to completion, the project started in November 2020 and achieved TCO in July 2022, ahead of schedule and on budget.
