Cal Poly San Luis Obispo Student Housing Program

The Cal Poly San Luis Obispo Student Housing Program is an eight-year, $800 million initiative that will deliver 3,500 new on-campus beds to support the university’s “Learn by Doing” mission. The multi-phase program combines new modular residence hall construction with renovations to historic red brick dormitories, modernizing existing facilities while preserving their character. Delivered through an integrated design-build approach with embedded modular manufacturing partnerships, the program accelerates construction, maintains cost certainty, and sets a new benchmark for large-scale modular student housing in the United States.
