Our Trade Partner Advancement team works with clients, civic organizations and city agencies across the country to expand opportunities for small businesses, create meaningful connections, and ensure that every partner we work with has the tools, resources, and support they need to succeed.

Our initiatives
This eight-course business accelerator opens doors for trade partners to help them expand their businesses, develop important relationships, and make their mark on the industry.
We team up with community partners like Building Pathways, YouthBuild and more to show the next generation what a construction career can offer — good pay, a dynamic environment and tangible results. We also partner with vocational schools to develop programs that give students early exposure to careers in construction through workshops, jobsite visits and mentorship opportunities.
We partner with underrepresented subcontractors, community agencies, and workforce readiness programs from coast to coast to broaden our outreach and increase local representation on our projects. Through our Supplier Open Houses, we bridge gaps between small and local businesses by creating direct connections with our project teams and key industry partners.
Custom QR codes on jobsites streamline applications for tradespeople who want to work on our projects. With this process, we’ve referred hundreds to prime-tier subcontractors and agencies for jobs. Beyond referrals, we also review the applications to identify potential barriers — such as missing OSHA or CPR training — so we can connect applicants with the resources they need to become job-ready.
Compliance is integral to every stage of the project lifecycle — from preconstruction planning through closeout — ensuring that all activities align with regulatory, contractual and organizational standards. By embedding compliance checkpoints throughout the process, we help mitigate risks, promote transparency and drive accountability across teams and partners.
