Dedicated clinical space for Home Base

Home Base Headquarters Renovation & Expansion

Home Base chose to partner with Suffolk to manage the interior fit-out on the third floor of its existing Charlestown headquarters. This expansion serves as a dedicated clinical space for the Comprehensive Brain Health and Trauma Program (ComBHaT) for Special Operators. Suffolk Design, Suffolk’s in-house design-management team, planned and developed the design of the space, performed pricing exercises and collaborated closely with the Suffolk project team on the design, scope, constructability and cost management of the project to ensure it was delivered on schedule and on budget. The Home Base headquarters project is an example of Suffolk’s diversification across vertical service lines and added value earlier in the planning and design process, which results in a more seamless, predictable construction experience.

A modern office space with people working and talking. There are couches, a long table, and an American flag on the wall. Military emblems are displayed on a wooden accent wall in the background.
