Delivering advanced cGMP manufacturing space

Integra LifeSciences cGMP Project Revere

Suffolk completed Project Revere for Integra LifeSciences in Braintree, Massachusetts, creating a new cGMP manufacturing facility for medical devices used in skin regeneration procedures. The tenant improvement is located within a recently renovated 152,000-square-foot, one-story shell building owned by Hilco Development. Approximately 90,000 square feet of ground-floor space was built out, with future plans for a 24,000-square-foot upper level to support mechanical and electrical equipment along with office and document storage areas.

Highly specialized systems and infrastructure

Integra LifeSciences cGMP Project Revere

The ground-floor buildout includes administrative and circulation areas, ISO-7 and ISO-8 classified cleanrooms, laboratories, manufacturing and utility support spaces, employee support areas, and specialized warehousing for chemical storage, cold rooms, and freezers. The project required extensive new central utility systems, including chilled and hot water, USP purified water, pH treatment, and solvent waste collection. Electrical upgrades distributed existing high-capacity power and added standby generation to protect operations, while new sanitary infrastructure was installed to manage both sanitary and treated pH waste before connecting to the site’s existing systems.
