Plumosa School of the Arts Expansion

The Plumosa School of the Arts is a K-5 school that features programs inclusive of visual, performing and communication arts like dance, graphic design, multimedia, music and theatre. The expansion consists of a new, two-story, 40,000 square-foot classroom building that adds approximately 636 student stations and features grades 6th through 8th. During the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic, Suffolk hosted a series of virtual outreach sessions for the project, including a matchmaker event to pair small local businesses with prime firms to expand the reach of the project into the community.
